Property & Code Reminders

Volunteers will be driving the neighborhood to note potential code violations and report them to the City and landlords/property managers. Common issues to avoid:

  • Parking in the yard
  • Unlicensed vehicles
  • Parked semi cabs and box trucks (over 2 hours not allowed)
  • Unapproved storage of full trash bags and leaf/lawn bags
  • Tall grass, piles of branches, overgrown yards and fence lines

Save yourself a fine or court trip—keep your property clean and compliant.

Extra Trash Bags

Any trash bags that don’t fit in the cart require a $2.50 extra trash sticker (limit 2 tagged bags per week). Stickers are available at Price Chopper or the HOA office.

Notary Services

Notary available at the HOA office for Ruskin Heights residents by appointment.
Call 816-761-6050 to schedule.

Fence Line Cleanup

Fence lines across Ruskin Heights are overgrown (invasive species, poison ivy/oak, trees, pokeweed, grapevines, etc.). Please:

  • Clear overgrowth along fence lines and remove dead limbs/trees.
  • If trimming is difficult, consider removing the fence so the area can be mowed.
  • Landlords/Property Managers: When turning over a home, include yard cleanup with interior cleanouts.
